The Way of Metamorphosis

Book title on Circle of Butterflies

Why does life pass so quickly? The answer might be found in how we measure time, not in time itself. It is, after all, how we spend our time that reflects what we value most in this life. But what if we are collectively valuing the wrong things? This seems to be the case since the United Nations agency, WHO, declared loneliness to be a “global public health concern.” In a newly released book titled The Way of Metamorphosis: Why Does Life Pass By So Quickly?, the philosopher Xavier Victor Montague culls from the collective wisdom to examine why relationships continue to be dysfunctional despite all the progress humans have made. Part of the reason is the human condition itself that seems to tether people from evolving. Unfortunately, it may very well be the human condition, in the form of hubris, that could prevent most people from being able to appreciate the work of Montague. For a limited time, the book is free to download at www.thewayofm.com.
