Eventually living with a father who traveled the world without his family as a career soldier until she entered high school. When he left the service and came home he became a functional alcoholic and died before she graduated from high school. It's about her journey through a dysfunctional household where she shared a room with her 2 older brothers in a tiny house in Queens New York—always desiring more and achieving more and finally ending up with her dream home and a great career.
